Justin R. Lewicky
Justin is a native Chicagoan. His family immigrated to the United States in the 1940’s from war-torn Ukraine with little more than the clothes on their back. From this start, Justin’s father became a doctor and his mother a business woman. Justin’s childhood aspiration was to become the first lawyer in his family and to bring a sense of security to people’s lives. Justin confirmed his desire to practice law in college. While studying for a semester in Russia, he sensed a feeling of an inability to attain justice in that country and Justin’s deep-rooted life direction took its course.
Once in law school, Justin worked for the Illinois Attorney General, the United States Department of Health and Human Services , and a federal judge, but it was his work at a downtown Chicago personal injury law firm which sprung his legal specialty. There, Justin worked on matters involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability and auto accident cases, while finishing his law degree and simultaneously earning a Master’s degree in business administration.
Following law school, Justin worked for a mid-size personal injury firm for 3 years where his personal injury trial record, including trials that resulted in multimillion dollar verdicts for the plaintiff, was notable. Accordingly, The Ankin Law Office recruited Justin’s outstanding talents from this smaller firm. Today, Justin continues to advocate zealously for clients of all backgrounds. Justin’s courtroom, deposition and negotiation skills continue to provide impressive results in all fields of personal injury law. Justin’s talents, work ethic and concern make his clients elated.
In his leisure time, Justin is an avid golfer and enjoys watching football and spending time with family and friends.
